UNITED AIRLINES: PALM SPRINGS TO WASHINGTON DC INAUGURAL FLIGHT

For aviation enthusiasts, inaugural flights are extremely sought after. Here, we get to experience the launch of a BRAND NEW ROUTE: Palm Springs to Washington DC. Flown by United Airlines on a Boeing 737 MAX 8, this new flight aims to connect the Coachella Valley to our nation's capital.

Alaska Airlines: Palm Springs to New York-JFK Inaugural Flight

An inaugural flight from December 2023: Highlighting the launch of Alaska Airlines' daily (seasonal) nonstop service from Palm Springs to New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport. Once operated by Virgin America, Alaska only started flying its own planes on the route with this flight, asserting itself as the most important airline in Palm Springs. We get a visit from the mayor of Palm Springs and the President & CEO of Visit Greater Palm Springs.
